Classes
Each class consists of four 1-hour sessions and will
meet each Wednesday in October. With our a la
carte option, you may choose how many classes to
take - 1, 2, 3, or all 4. Most classes meet at Bradley
University9s Michel Student Center. For eight of
our classes (shaded in gray), you can choose to
attend in person or remotely via Zoom. (If you
would like to register to take the class via Zoom,
go to the OLLI Online section when registering.)

1865 by actor and Confederate sympathizer John
Wilkes Booth. We9ll explore the shocking murder,
its immediate aftermath, and the gripping 12-day
manhunt that followed. We9ll also trace Booth9s
escape route through Maryland and Virginia,
examining key stops along the way 4 including
Dr. Samuel Mudd9s home, the Zekiah Swamp,
and 昀nally the Garrett farm, where Booth met
his end. Join us as we uncover the people, places,
and motivations behind a tragedy that forever
changed the nation.

estate planning. He9ll discuss the use of advance
directives and planning for incapacity; the use of
wills, the probate process, and the transfer of assets
upon a death; various types of trusts including
revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts and special
needs trusts. He9ll also cover the use of asset
protection planning strategies in contemplation of
the need for long term (nursing home) care with
handouts to supplement the discussion
