President9s Letter
As we kick off our Fall session,
I am very excited to share a
new collaboration between
OLLI and the Peoria Riverfront
Museum. PRM is offering halfprice membership to 100 OLLI
participants. The timing of this
offer is perfect, since it coincides
with OLLI and PRM coming
together to host the scientistexplorer who discovered the
sunken Titanic in 1985. Dr.
Robert Ballard will be speaking
on Bradley9s campus September 25, just as the Titanic exhibit is opening at PRM. PRM is a central
Illinois jewel. Its mission is parallel with OLLI9s: to educate, to explore and to connect. I encourage
any OLLI members to take advantage of this opportunity. It will only be available this fall.
I9m also excited 3 and I9m usually not easily excited 3 about OLLI9s Fall semester. We9ll be offering 28
classes, 15 study groups and 30+ learning trips and originals 3 all intended to expand your learning and
connect with OLLI friends.
This is the second time we9ll use our new registration system that9s intended to make the many OLLI
experiences available to the broadest audience. The summer registration worked without a hitch.
OLLI members reported it was less stressful and more equitable. And no one had to get up early to
beat the rush. Let us know if the registration system works as well this Fall.
Thanks to all for participating in OLLI and making this great organization even better. I look forward
to greeting you at the next OLLI event.

As we look forward to a new season of OLLI, we’re also re昀ecting with
immense appreciation on the generosity of our members.
In our 2024-2025 giving season (June 2024 - May 2025), 41% of our
members contributed to OLLI9s fundraising efforts. There9s simply no
better reminder of our lifelong learning community9s culture of giving.
Your support - no matter the amount - enriches our programming, our
outreach, and our efforts to provide opportunities for all OLLI members
to explore, connect, and learn.
Final campaign results and goals for this year will be shared soon. For
now, we simply want to thank you. Your support means the world to
us and we appreciate you!
