ONLINE Study Groups
Using AI Tools
Thursdays, October 1 – November 5
1:00 – 3:30 p.m.
We hear that AI is everywhere and can do almost
anything—but what can it really do? This group
will meet weekly via Zoom. Between meetings,
participants will spend 2–3 hours exploring free
AI tools and practicing skills with chatbots, image
creation, video creation, and more. During weekly
discussions, participants will share experiences,
demonstrate results, and exchange tips by sharing
screens and examples. By the end of the course,
everyone will have explored at least ten AI tools
and learned about many others through the
group. A discussion forum will be available for
questions, comments, and support. Participants
should try ChatGPT and Google Gemini before the
first meeting.
$45 – Facilitated by Walter Urbaniak, a retired
computer network engineer and information
security architect.

1970s and Beyond!
Mondays, October 5 – 26
12:00 – 2:00 p.m.
Discover what happened after the world’s greatest
band stepped off the Apple rooftop. This foursession study group explores the solo careers,
creative achievements, and evolving relationships
of John, Paul, George, and Ringo after the 1960s.
Topics include The Breakup and First Blasts (1970–
1971), Chart Toppers and Plastic Icons (1972–1975),
Tragedies, Comebacks, and Collaborations (1976–
1989), and The Living Legacy and Anthology (1990–
Present). Through music, discussion, and cultural
context, participants will examine how each former
Beatle shaped popular music and maintained a
lasting influence long after the band’s breakup.

Pundits, Polls & Politics! The 2026 Mid-term
Election!
Monday, September 14
10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
Join Doug Stowell with Market Resource Associates
for a look at the upcoming mid-term elections.
On November 3, all 435 seats in the U.S. House of
Representatives and 35 seats in the Senate will be
up for re-election, along with hundreds of local
and state offices and issues. Turnout in presidential
elections is usually around 60 percent, while
midterm turnout is often closer to 40 percent.
This mid-term may be more consequential than
many recent elections, so we’ll dig into the national
issues shaping the races and look at how those
issues rank by party affiliation, generation, and
region. We’ll also review some of the better election
forecasts, conduct our own online in-class polls,
and forecast party-level House and Senate results.
$10 – Zoom links will be sent the morning of the
event.
Seats available: 200
