Giving To OLLI/Save The Date
Last year was a remarkable 30th anniversary
for OLLI. Our membership levels are strong,
our programs have never been more varied
and appealing, and our volunteers remain the
creative lifeblood in every aspect of our learning
community.
For the past 12 years, OLLI has counted on the
昀nancial support of our members to evolve
and grow. On average, 38% of our membership
contributes annually to fund expenses and
upgrades that our membership and program fees
simply don9t cover.
We9ve used your gifts to make capital investments,
to expand our offerings, to continue programming
during the pandemic, and to cover the costs of
our signature quarterly catalog while keeping
membership and program fees very affordable.
This year, your generous gifts will fund the design,
printing, and mailing of our catalogs, replace our
aging headsets and microphones used on every
learning trip, maintain our shuttles, replenish our
shuttle replacement fund, and contribute to our
operational emergency reserves.
We9re already off to a great start, thanks to a
successful Trivia Night and some Caterpillar
matching gifts. That9s right: Caterpillar matches
now stay with OLLI. If you9re a Caterpillar
employee or retiree, your donation to OLLI is
doubled when you submit a matching request.
As an added incentive, gifts to OLLI at Bradley
are exempt from Caterpillar9s annual cap!
If you have donated in the past, we thank you and
encourage you to continue. If you haven9t had the
opportunity to contribute yet, now is the perfect
