What Do I Need to Know About the New
Registration Request Week?

Instead of immediate registration, you will
request programs at any time throughout the
Registration Request week, and later pay for
those for which you’ve been registered. When
registering online, instead of clicking “Add to
Cart,” you’ll click “Request Program.”
IMPORTANT: the order in which you request
programs will determine their priority. As
you check out, your cart will say “remove from
waitlist” (rather than “remove from cart”) as
you are technically on a waitlist until after the
allocation has been run.
Waitlist placement is assigned by priority
level. For example, if 40 people have selected
“Trip 1” as their 昀椀rst choice but there are only
28 seats available, the remaining 12 people will
be placed on the waitlist.

When prioritizing your programs, consider
the maximum number of participants for
each program (listed in the description) and
follow the general order of the registration
page. For example, if you’re excited about a
trip, a movie, and a seminar, we recommend
prioritizing the trip 昀椀rst because it has fewer
seats available.

At any time during Registration Request
Week, you can log into your account, go to My
Account > Course Priorities, and update the
priority order of your list. Be sure to click “Save
Priorities.”

After Registration Request Week, the system
will be temporarily closed while requests are
processed. Once participants are noti昀椀ed of
their program status, registration will reopen
on Wednesday, November 12. At that time,
registration is open as usual on a 昀椀rst-come,
昀椀rst-served basis by selecting “Add to Cart”
and paying at checkout
CANCELLATION POLICY
OLLI’s cancellation policy was designed to encourage our members to carefully consider their personal availability
for events. This thoughtful scheduling will allow peers who wish to participate a chance to do so. Extenuating
circumstances will be handled on a case–by–case basis. Membership fees are non–refundable.
Classes
• $10 minimum cancellation fee per person.
• The remainder of your class fees will be refunded
if you cancel before 昀椀rst day of classes. No refunds
will be processed if cancellations are made after the
start of classes. Extenuating circumstances will be
handled on a case–by–case basis.
Learning Trips
• $10 minimum cancellation fee.
• If you cancel the day before or day of trip, entire fee
forfeited.
• Local trips: if you cancel and your spot is 昀椀lled from
waitlist, remainder of fee refunded. If you cancel and
your spot cannot be 昀椀lled, entire fee forfeited
• Regional trips: partial refunds may be given, less any
expenses prepaid by OLLI.
• Multi–day trips will abide by their own cancellation
schedule, given at the time of payment.

OLLI Originals and OLLI Online
• OLLI Originals and OLLI Online over $15 will follow the
learning trip cancellation policy. There are no refunds
for programs $15 or under.
Study Groups
• $10 minimum cancellation fee.
• $35 will be refunded if you cancel at least 7 business
days before the start of your group.
• Entire fee will be forfeited if you cancel less than 7
business days before the start of your group.
